They have a healing field close to my house. There is a US flag for each person that died that life changing day 09/11/2001. Everyone remembers where they were how they found out. It is a moment we will remember for all our lives! My husband my mom my kids and my two nieces all went down to the field, where there are lines and lines of flags it's beautiful. As I walked through the rows of flags I thought if each of the flags were replaced with a person, and I stopped and took it all in...as I looked to my left I saw the cutest little boy holding tight on to the flag pole...I couldn't help but snap a picture. His grandma was with him and said that he just loves flags!! He wasn't even alive when this tragedy happened. It was a burst of happiness that was brought to me seeing him there, dressed in red, white and blue, holding tight to the flag pole!!

I love this. I took my girls to the healing field by my house back in July and took some super cute pics of them. Nothing as pro as yours, but so cute none the less. I had them in red, white, and blue dresses too. And it truly was a moving experience. I had to take my oldest (3) for the mere fact that for Christmas last year the only thing she asked for from Santa was an American Flag. She was in awe. Thanks for sharing and I love your work.

How sweet is that, that all she wanted was an American Flag!!! How cute!!! I wish I would have gotten my kids in all dressed in red white and blue for pictures!!! They are so sick of me and my camera though!!! Thank goodness I get to take pictures of other peoples children, maybe my kids will come back around to pictures if I give them a bit of a break!!!
